Yesterday Charlotte was one month old. We hiked out to the doctor's office during a downpour (though previous and subsequent days have been beautiful, go figure). She has gained two pounds since her last visit for a total of 8 pounds and 9 ounces, and stretched out another inch in length.
She's been smiling a lot lately - I'm glad I was able to catch one sort of! We've been having all kinds of fun staying up at night together (her idea, not mine), taking walks to parks and watching The Price is Right (why is that the highlight of daytime TV??!) Speaking of that show, I think that people in NY have a distinct advantage playing the pricing games, because in NY you actually pay the MSRP!

Charlotte looks adorable--love the smile. This is such a wonderful way to see Charlotte each week.
Enjoy her--even if it is the middle of the night--they grow up fast. It is easy for me to say that now.

A smile! How great! Hopefully soon she will learn the difference between day and night and what you are supposed to do during each time.
That 2nd picture is CUTE! I love that her mouth is open and she's grinning. And congrats on two whole pounds of weight gain! That's a big deal for a little one - and in only a few weeks.
Christina, what a darling baby! I have a similar schedule to your with my baby boy, right down to watching the Price is Right!
