Details
So yesterday Helaman got an email at 8:45 am telling him that he was matched to the University of Texas-Southwestern/Parkland Memorial Hospital located in Dallas, TX for his oral surgery residency. We are VERY excited to move there for the next 6 years, especially since it is just 3-4 hours from Houston, where my parents and two brothers live. He graduates in May, and then will start the residency on July 1. I'm so proud of Helaman, who has worked super hard since Day 1 of dental school to get to this point.

congrats - Now I have two friends in Dallas perhaps I will have to come visit. Hurray. I am excited for you guys
Congratulations! I have several friends in the Dallas area... they love it. I visited there one Christmas and found the people to be really quite fabulous- so friendly and warm. I guess Texans are so into their state because it really IS a great place! Ella will be sad to see Charlotte go, though- in her own infant way.

Congrats!! That's probably such a relief for you guys--especially Helaman. You'll have to keep us updated on how he likes the oral surgery residency because that's something Aaron has considered. And how great that you can live so close to your family now. Make sure to hang out with JoEllen every now and then, she just had a baby.
Yay! We're thrilled to have you guys come here...we overlapped w/ you in the NYC area for like 2 weeks before we moved to Boston, but we're planning on sticking around so we'll have to get together. Where are you planning on living?
