I recently discovered Google Group Chat and love it! The other day I was talking to Jen and Lachelle at the same time and it was like we were hanging out again as carefree single gals in Mesa teasing eachother about the silly boys we dated back then. I had graduated from BYU a year earlier and was working at a law firm in Phoenix. We were also talking about this picture so I had to go find it. Awesome decorating huh! So much has happened in 5 years - I never thought I'd be 2,474 miles away (in an apt half the size of that one). Where were you 5 years ago?

Cute picture!

Five years ago I was working at CNN and attending a singles branch. I was missing college and wondering if I should go to law school. And I was desperately hoping someone cool would move to Atlanta for me to date!

That's hilarious! You forgot to mention what we did with that picture. ha ha. I need to mail the picture to Jen. Obviously - 5 years ago we were living in that apartment taking that picture. :) Working at a job I hated in Scottsdale and having lots of fun (or should I say FUNNY) dating stories.

Let's see, five years ago Paul and I had been married for about a year, and we were about to move to Utah. Also, I was blond. And basically living on In n Out. Good times.

Five years ago I was in the middle of law school up in Chicago with Sheralie. Jeffrey was about 9 months old and was suffering his first winter trapped indoors in our spacious (compared to yours) apartment.

5 years ago I was there with you, Lachelle, and what's-her-face in Mesa. Me and Sam went down there for New Year's and we hung out for a bit, with curly-haired Jason. I remember you liked some Gomer and you were super grumpy on New Year's Eve cause you couldn't go to the party to see him. Lame!

5 years ago I was knocking doors in a small town on the east coast of Italy. After each door I would remark to my companion, "This is the worst Christmas ever."
