Our first carving of the year.
Helaman and I love to carve pumpkins. It all stems back to October 2003 when my office building in Phoenix had a contest. We entered 5 pumpkins (hauling them all in to work was slightly embarrassing). One of them did win - I wish I had a picture of that one.
Pumpkin carving has come a long way.

wow, that's really good. at our pumpkin carving night the other night, we were talking about "those people that use different shadings" for their pumpkins. i didn't know you guys were them. you can see our pumpkins at philspills.blogspot.com
That's a good photo of the pumpkin, too. I know it can be hard to take those low-light ones and have them turn out well.
Sweet mother, that is one awwwwesome pumpkin!!
So funny. I opened this page and Wesley started screaming and then yells "I want to see it again"
so who's the little kids with the pumpkin?
I like the pumpkin carving; it looks pretty good. I think I might try my hand at it, and I'll send you guys a picture of it.
I really hope that wasn't my complete costume - the masked cowboy with the #81 shirt? Yikes. I would never let my kid out of the house with that kind of get up.
